Thank you for your interest in Mountains and Rivers Media.
We are currently undertaking an intentional pause, putting time and energy into an honest examination of our practices, programs, products, and services and giving this liminal time our full attention. We are engaged in deep reflection on our business offerings, focus, and harmonizing with our values, what we need to share in the world, and our potential as a business and community members.
On Liminal Space and Time
Author and Franciscan friar Richard Rohr describes this space as:
"Where we are betwixt and between the familiar and the completely unknown. There alone is our old world left behind, while we are not yet sure of the new existence. That’s a good space where genuine newness can begin. Get there often and stay as long as you can by whatever means possible…This is the sacred space where the old world is able to fall apart, and a bigger world is revealed. If we don’t encounter liminal space in our lives, we (idealize) normalcy."
These thresholds of waiting and not knowing our ‘next move’ or "clear direction" are inevitable for every business and for each of us as humans. And so, are embracing equally the regenerative aspects and the disruptive nature that accompanies Liminal time.
We will update the website with new information as it becomes available. Optionally, you can opt to be emailed direct and personalized updates on our process in your inbox as we complete our inward reflections.
